Mr. Ishman's practice concentrates on advising both high-tech and brick and mortar companies in connection with Internet, e-commerce, cyberlaw, intellectual property, corporate transactional, computer security, privacy, real estate and employment matters. He has over 18 years of experience in the legal industry, over 8 years as an attorney, 3 ½ years as law clerk and over 7 years as a paralegal.
Mr. Ishman is weekly co-host of Raleigh’s radio show “ Computers 2K9” aired on Sunday mornings at 850 The Buzz AM radio
station.
His article, “ Computer Crimes and the Respondeat Superior Doctrine: Employers Beware”, was published in the July 2002 issue of the Boston University Journal of Science & Technology Law. Mr. Ishman is also the co-author of " Trends in U.S. Copyright Law: Adopting to the Cyber Revolution", which appeared in the April 2000 issue of Copyright World.
Mr. Ishman has spoken on legal issues connected to internet law, cyberlaw, e-commerce law, electronic contracting, intellectual property protection, licensing and data privacy. He is an active member in various legal associations, including the American Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association and the Copyright Society of the USA, as well as an energetic advocate for online merchants.
